Night on the Town
This is a cityscape that is deep down in the high rises of a city. The medium is not just watercolor but also the use of ink. I used various tapes to make sharp lines and contrasting shapes for the building’s features. Some areas I would put fresh paint down and tape over it and peel back to get different effects. The scene is pedestrians retreating to the golden hour of the day to enjoy a night out in the city.
Printed on archival heavyweight paper.
