Vase Study 0125 This study was inspired by a yellow vase with a red rose I saw one day. However, during the painting session things changed a bit. I originally was going to drop red in for the rose. But thought the white of the natural paper looked peaceful. I also was going to erase the pencil marks on the flower but felt it added great texture. Plans can change and still have a pleasant outcome.
